Spice and Wolf has been dropped, as another group has picked it up. Sorry to have held out on everyone who was eagerly awaiting it! It turned out to be too hard of a project for Black. Please go support FoOlRulez for more releases!

As of 4/2/09, Anon White has taken an unexpected leave of absence from FWPA. Please join us in wishing her the best of luck, and thanking her for her outstanding work from December to April! The staff would like to sincerely wish White the best in all of her endeavors and hope that we shall see her again soon.
I’d be happy to help you out if you need some translating… I also have quite a few raw things I got at Anime Boston this weekend, including the new series YaroYoru (or something like that…)

Well, thanks for supporting us (I’m lead of FoOlRulez and editor of Spice ch7). And sorry for taking up the same project you were starting to work on.
Believe me, we had some issues with Spice and Wolf too, we translated it twice from both japanese and chinese in order to get all the meanings correctly. It was a real mess, had to typeset twice too…
Definitely not an easy manga… but we’ll dash out the other 5 chapters in no time anyway =)
Don’t worry about it. We’ve had it queued since December, but never got around to it because of scan issues / translation issues. (Black: Took me a few hours just to get through the first pages. Wanted to kill myself.) Your work looks great, we wish you the best of luck!

Aw, sad to hear that Anon White is Missing in Anonymity! I know that you all have lives beyond your computers, but I wished that she would have said good-bye and shared her reasons for leaving… (Even if it was as vague as “personal issues” – obviously there are things you don’t want or need to share with strangers.) And also, it would also have been nice to know if she plans to come back.
But who am I to talk? I’m certainly not the patron saint of graceful farewells. o_O Good luck, Anon White, and we hope to see you again!
